  • A. Stewart - Gaga demonstrates her versatility again

Joanne is a huge, exciting departure from Lady Gaga's standard electropop style, moving significantly in a more rock or country direction. I think the first half of the album is very strong, and the second half drops off a bit, but is still pretty good. "Diamond Heart," "Joanne," and "Perfect Illusion" are the highlights for me. This is definitely worth a listen. It's really brought back my fondness for Gaga, which had waned a lot after the disappointing Artpop and the utterly uninteresting Tony Bennett album.

  • Gankaku - Beautiful App

I loved everything about this app on my Kindle, with one exception. I do not like having my location turned on all the time on my device. This application allows you to manually set your location by city name and that is good enough for me. However, even though I selected my location manually and receive accurate prayer times for my location, every 30 seconds this app checks my device to see if the Location is enabled. I get an error message asking me to turn it on, every 30 seconds. This continual message has interrupted many of my apps during usage, forcing me to decide to uninstall this wonderful prayer app. If this problem could be fixed I would love to reinstall and donate for it. Insha'Allah I will check back on this app. For now I am shopping another prayer times app for my Kindle.

  • M. Madden - but nothing like Born this Way or especially not like ARTPOP

So this is different.. If you all were looking for more EDM Laga Gaga, this is not it. There are a few songs that could classify as partial EDM, but nothing like Born this Way or especially not like ARTPOP...BUT! However...the songs are solid and her voice is truly in her prime. So this album does shine...I would not classify this as country, but more of the songs are more of Stevie Nicks kind of classification or Pat Benetar...which I am sure that is what she is channelling...after all the last album I believe she was trying to channel David Bowie and I do believe she was successful...:) 5 Stars. 5 Bananas.
