I love the Missing Manual series in general for getting dialed up on a program. I generally take a look at the front portion that tells me why I ought to use a program so I have an idea of what it's supposed to be capable of, then I try to pick out portions that aren't self-explanatory (for example, functions) to get an idea of how the program operates. Especially with Kindle versions, they are pretty good about cross-referencing concepts so you can tap the hyperlink and bounce to the page that introduces it.
nothing but problems. turns off by itself, the battery life sucks, and it just wasn't a good purchase. i want to send it back today. tried to give it a chance but it's no good.
I purchased this as a starter, hoping it would benefit my wife's diminished hearing...she gave it the old college try, but she dislikes every thing about it...I would gladly accept a prepaid postage return refund.
I probably spend more time with this book during my studies for the USMLE than anything or anyone else. All thought there are lots of mistakes, the general concepts are there and help greatly.
I've often found a need to keep a set of car keys secure when carrying them in a pocket just isn't a realistic or safe option (Cycling, kayaking, or military PT sessions). I'd either have to leave the car unsecure with the keys hidden under the seat or hope I didn't lose the keys in a river or on a trail. The drawer is pretty small, but it's big enough for the remote, the ignition key, and the house key. Build quality seems to be quite good, especially for the price
Okay so I didnt buy this from amazon I got mine in Louisiana at walgreens. It was my first day taking them and I only took 2 around 1pm. I was drinking water all day and around 4pm I became very very very light headed and dizzy. Nonetheless I had To go to work. I couldn't stop my hands or even my whole body from shaking. I felt like I was about to just drop into a seizure at any moment! It is now 1:54 am and I still have the shakes! Though not as bad and I also have a slight headache. I'm not sure if it's just me but I wouldn't recommend these at all.
OMG I did not know how great a gift this was going to be. Do buy the 2nd generation or beyond watch. Definitely look at this watch from a child's eyes and not from adult perspective as I think some reviewers have done. Also consider the price - the apps on this watch are not going to compete with a device like a tablet where you have so much more money invested. For the type product it is, the market it is made for and ultimately the low price you get it for - this watch is a great product.
