  • https://emilysuess.com/2016/10/26/isnt-that-stigma-something/ Isn’t That Stigma Something? – Emily's Blog - For most of yesterday, I sat at my computer wondering why I hurt so bad. I figured that if I was going to have a bad day this week, it would have been Monday (my first day back to work in three weeks). Nope. Because nothing health-related can ever make sense in my world, the…

My medically induced vacation hasn't been as helpful as I'd hoped. But if I'm obligated to find a bright side, I guess I'm glad I didn't have to pretend to be OK for three weeks. The amount of pretending and ignoring it takes to get through an 8-hour day when…

  • https://emilysuess.com/2016/10/02/drug-check-gabapentin/ Drug Check: Gabapentin – Emily's Blog - I've been on 100 mg daily for three days. So far I am not impressed, but if I could give Cymbalta six months, I can give this a few weeks. I will continue taking it. This post might be a bit boring; it's mostly just to help me remember what I'm experiencing (and possibly help…
  • https://emilysuess.com/2016/10/05/oh-yeah-well-you-cant-tell-me-that-i-am-depressed/ Oh yeah? Well you can’t tell me that I *am* depressed. – Emily's Blog - My hands are swollen today. My skin burns. My knuckles ache. If I use the computer mouse for too long, my hand curls into that shape, and I have to force my fingers and palm to straighten out. At the same time all off my muscles—in addition to the ones in my hands—are weak. I mean…

  • https://emilysuess.com/2016/10/14/sleep-study-iron-testing-so-long-gabapentin/ Sleep Study, Iron Testing, So Long Gabapentin – Emily's Blog - Getting out of bed is so hard. But I did it—for the second day in a row—and finally got to sit down with my primary care physician today. I'd hoped to write something better today, but the best I can do is keep everyone apprised of the basics: I told my doctor that I had stopped…
  • https://emilysuess.com/2016/10/13/doctor-appointment-postponed/ Doctor Appointment Postponed – Emily's Blog - I went to the doctor's office this morning, but didn't get to see my doctor. Her first appointment went way over, so a nurse asked me whether I wanted to wait for at least another hour (because there was also a patient still ahead of me) or reschedule. I opted to reschedule. It's a struggle to…

  • Robert - Still a skeptic and that's ok!

This was a fun watch, I cringe at those horrible ghost hunting shows and I liked the folksy approach they took on dispelling the bad science behind these shows, as someone who still doesn't believe in ghosts I must say this was the first time I watched something about ghosts that kinda made me wish I believed a little bit. When it comes down to it I think Bill is absolutely right, experiences are whatever we want them to be and belief or the absence of belief doesn't make one thing more real than another.

  • Amazon Customer - Disappointing

I've used Quicken for many years and am generally happy with 2013. When 2014 promised not to change anything while adding features, I jumped for it.

  • Juhi - Useless, does nothing, waste of money

Have used this cream every day religously, ever since I received it, but there hasn't been an iota of difference in my under-eye puffiness and dark circles I would not recommend this product.
