How is it that the RAND corporation has a monopoly on RAND-om numbers? I think these numbers aren't truly mathematically random, but rather were designed so that, when used in research, they will produce results that will control our minds. Just one more justification for the aluminum hat I always wear.
I recently purchased a replacement power cord for my computer from the Apple store for $90 that my dog promptly destroyed. This one works great and I didn't have to break the bank!
My mother is 81 and had not updated her decades-old will. She has a simple estate - one house and a few thousand in savings. I was able to create a standard will, legal power of attorney, and health care directive for her in just a couple of hours. The instructions are clear and easy to understand. All we had to do was take them to her bank to be signed and notarized and we were done! We had both been putting off this inevitable task because we thought it would be difficult and time consuming and were relieved to find it was simple and cost effective. I would recommend this to anyone who needs simple legal documents.
"What Color is Your Parachute?" has become an American institution. This edition marks the 40th anniversary of the book's first publication, and the book has now sold more than 10 million copies. While I don't usually review books like "What Color is Your Parachute?" I find that it's such a unique and useful book on finding a job that it's worth encouraging people to read it.
This is my second year using McAfee Total Security on my Windows 8 laptop. I first used Norton, because it came with my laptop and I liked it, but after I purchased the product when the trial ended my computer started crashing and it would not finish a scan. Someone purchased the McAfee Total Protection 2014 and offered to let me try it since they could have up to 3 PCs. It found 4 viruses that Norton missed and cleaned up my computer to where it was like a faster newer laptop. What I love is that it finishes a full scan while I am busy working/browsing the internet and it doesn't slow me down at all... but that is just my experience, you will probably have a different one because computers, tablets, mobile devices are finicky. What works for one will not work for all.
If you want a knife that attaches to your PFD then NRS is your only option. It has a good design and works well but the quality of the blade is definitely lacking. My brother is a raft guide and has the same one and loves it. If you are looking for higher quality maybe try the titanium one.
I have been watching various videos on line for years, especially Prime videos. It so nice to now watch and hear them on a larger screen. Set up was super easy. I turned off my tv, plugged one end of the HDMI cable into the HDMI2 TV slot and one into the HDMI slot on my laptop. Turned the TV on and used the channel tuner to change it to HDMI2. (HDMI1 was in use by my Blue Ray play. You should be able to use any HDMI slot, just because you select that one on your turner. )
