for the price range it beats those you can see at the home depot/lowes for this price range... my stainless hood came damaged, but i did get very prompt and satisfied turnaround on replacement, so i would use them again in the future. only complaint i would have about the product is the vibrations when its on, it runs up the walls, i havent had enough time to see if i can stop that transfer of vibration. i do have mine mounted to the studs and not the sheetrock though, and this would transfer sound more then sheetrock anchors, but i dont trust hanging this heavy of a unit with just sheetrock...

I recieved my Shark Navigator Lift-away this afternoon and after getting it together, I vacuumed a small portion of my living room which I just vacuumed over the weekend with my old Hoover Self Proplled upright. The Hoover, I thought, was doing a great job of cleaning. Again, thats what I thought. But when I went over the same area I was amazed at the dust and dog and cat hair that was in the container. I have a dog and a cat and they both shed like crazy and I thought I had picked up most of the hair a few days ago. What was in the vacuum amazed me. In just a small portion of the living room, the canister was almost full. I have yet to vacuum the entire living room and hallway but I know when I do it will be a lot cleaner than it has been in a long time, thanks to the Shark Navigator. I almost was going to buy a Hoover Wind Tunnel, in fact I did put an order in for it. But then I saw a commercial for the Shark Navigator and went online to check it all out. I am sure glad that I did and right away I canceled the order for the Hoover and put the order in for the Shark Navigator. I put the order in on Monday monring and Tuesday afternoon the vacuum was delivered to me by way of UPS. Fast service from Amazon and fast service from the shipping company.

I smoke recreationally. Pretty much on weekends a hit or two. I quit when I found out I was going to have to take a hair test to get my new job. About 3 weeks before the test. I don't know how far they actually go back and don't know what levels they pass or fail. I didn't ask too many questions because I didn't want to sound sketchy. I used the product the day of only. My hair was still wet when I went and I passed my test. If I were a heavier user I may have bleached my hair a couple times. I don't know that the product cleared it all out or masked it just enough to pass but I don't really care. I don't intend on smoking anytime in the near future because the anxiety just about killed me.
